Hi. I am due mid June and i am seeking a natural delivery for this, my 3rd, child. I am too late on finding out about Bradley classes and still have yet to find a Doula. Also, I have yet to meet the doctor that will be delivering my child, which to say the least, I think, is silly. On a good note I have just found out about C.A.’s new mid wife and birthing pool. I am very excited about both meeting Sharon Smith and learning more about birthing in a pool. If you were to have any information you could post about birthing pools I would greatly appreciate it, I know other women that would enjoy the information as well. Thank you for your time.

Hi Kimberly. It’s a shame you haven’t been able to meet your doctor yet. Are you hoping to have Sharon be your care provider for this birth? That would be great if you could! She is a great lady. And the care you get from a Midwife is outstanding!

But, if you are sticking with your doctor, and want to hire a Doula, you should check out our Resources page to get in touch with someone. The director of CHOICES, Rachaela DiRosaria, is also a Bradley Method Instructor and would be a great person to contact for any more information you need. Her email is dirosaria@yahoo.com. I had not heard of the birthing pool at CA! That is great news! I knew they were working towards getting one, but didn’t know it would happen so soon. Wonderful! Water Birth International would be a good website to visit to get all the information about giving birth in water. I personally gave birth in water, and absolutely loved it. Being in the pool was wonderful for me when labor really got going, and it also made the delivery go smoothly with my Posterior baby boy. I’ll post soon about water birth. Thanks for the request! Feel free to contact me again if you need more help! I wish you well on your natural birth!
